The most popular poker online game in the world today is Texax Holdem poker without any doubt. This following article is a short tutorial which will give you the basics of playing both limit and no-limit holdem. In any format of the game, holdem has 2-10 players at a single time. All the rooms have at least 6 players on each table while some tables might have 9-10 players.

Functionality and general rules

Every table will have a designated dealer or button that will have the advantage of acting last on every round except the first round of each game. The button moves to the left of the table to each player just after each hand is done. When the cards are not dealt as yet, the player who is situated to the left of the button plays a bet called as a small blind and the person to his/her left places a bet called the big blind.

The general rules say that the big blind is equal to the smaller of the two bets and the small blind is exactly half of the big blind. Sometimes during the later parts of the game, a player might be forced to place an ante which is in addition to the bets already placed.

How the game ends

When the blinds are placed, two hole cards will be given to each player which are placed face down. The player who is one the left of the player with the big blind will start by folding the cards, call the big blind or get a raise done. All the other players in the order will follow suit. In the limit version of the game, the raise can be of the lower amount of the bet in the first couple of rounds and the higher end of the bet in the last two rounds. This can be ignored in the no-limit version where the raise can be of any amount but the amount needs to be at least twice the amount of the last raise. The game finally ends when all the cards have been folded or the bets have been called.

Understanding the cards

There are a total of three cards which are placed face up in the centre of the table and are the community cards. These are called the ‘flop’. All the players use the community cards with the hole cards to form a 5 card hand. The second round of the game starts when the hand is still with the person who is on the left of the button. The options which are available out here are to either check to the next player, to place a bet or to call. The fourth option is to raise the stakes if there has already been a bet. When all the players are done, then a fourth community card (Turn) is placed and the next round of betting ensue.

River and the best hand

The round which is currently on and the last round are the ones in which the bets are twice of that of the first rounds. The last card is placed which is known as the “River” and the betting for the final round start. After all the players have completed their betting, each of them makes the best five card hand by mixing one or both hand cards and three from the community cards. The player with the best hand wins. In case of a tie, the pot is split in two. A tip before playing is to carefully check the playing rules of the room.

There are few secrets about gambling, for the ones who are starting to play, to learn for and they should never lose sight of. Statistically speaking about the nastiest thing in Texas Holdem Poker is the off suited two and seven. The other secret a beginner should know and not lose sight of and that is a good amount of money is lost apparently on good hands rather than lost on two and seven off suit.

Keep thinking about that asking yourself a question about it that “Though everyone knows that the off suited two and seven is a bad hand and very less people play for it, how much you loose playing that hand and how much more can be lost while playing apparently with good hands? ”If you are learning to place a hand and it costs you money and you turn a winner from a loser as you just have less developed discipline. The pros will exist in the games as they will be familiar with when to place a hand down.

This makes the difference in what is sensibly bad and what is statistically bad, these are two dissimilar things .The person who has just started playing the game learns fast what is the bad hand in poker and place it down, but later get a improved here are signals indicating that now they should lay it down. That’s why it’s always said that the second bad hand in Texas Holdem Poker is off suited two and seven.

Learning’s

•	When you are playing a worse hand in other hand you are holding onto and playing to the sour end and loosing the seat and the chips perhaps .If you are learning to become a good poker player its required to play with the other players and the cards.

•	.If you have learned the statistics then you are very much towards the goal of becoming a good player.

•	Also learning a bit of psychology and more of old good fashioned poker will also make you a good poker player.

If you have just started to play and you want to learn determining the potential of the hand, then the best way to do that is using the power of 19 which is taught in Power Point Poker. It is not easy to master the game rapidly and easily, it takes time to do so but consider about the fun, you will get all the way. The other way around losing is not entertaining so learn few techniques to put your shoulder and head above all other players and keep practicing.

For years, Bill Peterson is a professional horse and card player and his inventive methods came out when he thought out of the box. .He said “ A life well wasted” .Bill has taught for years the essentials of gambling .To know about it read Bill’s Power Point Poker at Power Point Poker and you can also read about Bill’s horse racing handicap methods in The Handicapping Store.

Its not in anyone’s hand to make you a winner but if you learn the essentials and a bit of secrets and methods, it will make your dream to make profit in one of your favorite game .Use the methods above and modify it to suit the style of yours and you will be in front of 99 % of the crowd.
